What is .mdSiren?
.mdSiren is being developed as a document security workspace for AI: check a supported document before AI use, get a handling decision, and keep the approved exact version in a private Library.
Can I use it today?
Customer access is not open yet. This website previews the planned document workspace. Confirmed formats, account and privacy details will be published before access opens.
What do Approved, Needs review and Quarantine mean?
Approved means required supported checks completed for the exact version without a stop or review finding. Needs review is for a supported concern or material coverage gap. Quarantine keeps a version with a registered hard stop out of normal reuse.
What if a scan fails?
The scan could not complete, so no security decision was made. Retry is available and the scan is not charged. A technical failure is separate from the three document destinations.
Which documents and file sizes will be supported?
Confirmed formats, file limits and processing expectations will be published before customer access opens. PDF and DOCX support is still being prepared.
Does the document stay on my device?
The planned product uses an account-based workspace with uploaded documents and a private Library. A browser interface does not mean device-local processing. Confirmed processing and storage details will be published before customer access.
Where will approved documents be kept?
Approved exact versions are intended to enter your private account Library automatically, with their scan record and current status. The planned workflow includes downloading the approved version and its report for reuse.
What happens when the file or scan policy changes?
A changed file is a new version to check. Approval remains bound to the inspected bytes and scan policy; stale approval can be held for rescan before the version is released again.
How will retention and deletion work?
Customer retention limits and deletion details are still being confirmed. They will be published with the product privacy information before account access opens.
Will there be Deep Scan or agent access?
Deep Scan is planned for eligible findings that need additional context. API, MCP, skills, plugins, sharing and team access are later roadmap work. None is publicly available today.
